The Denver Fire Company is accepting applications for active Firefighters, Fire Police, and Social Membership. For consideration, you may select an option below. Both options must be mailed or hand-delivered to the fire company to be accepted.
The Denver Fire Company is actively recruiting new members for our Volunteers. We are looking for a variety of types of members for the following areas.
An Active Firefighter is anyone 18 years of age or older, who wishes to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service.
A Junior Firefighter is anyone, between the ages of 14 and 18, who wishes to respond to emergency and non-emergency calls for service as a support function on scene. While Juniors do not get to actively participate in fire suppression or vehicle extrication, being on scene helps teach and understand the basics. (Working papers must accompany application)
A Fire Police Officer is anyone, 21 years of age or older, who wishes to respond to scenes to shut down roadways and direct traffic. Fire Police are essential to keeping the scene safe for Firefighters to work in and for helping the public find the correct route for them to get to their destination.
A Social member is anyone, 18 years of age or older, who wishes to support the fire company with fundraisers and other various events.
