 READ CONTRACT CAREFULLY!! All rentals must include a signed contract and appropriate dollar amount. It is recommended that this be done immediately so the date and the room can be reserved. Otherwise, we cannot guarantee your reservation, and the date may be reserved by someone else. See section 4 of this contract for cancellation policy.

Section 1 - Charges

1. Deposit - A Fifty Dollar ($50) deposit is due at the signing of this contract. This fee is non-refundable securing the room for the date requested. This fee covers small damages or loss of property of the Denver Fire Company. If any additional costs excessive cleaning needed of DFC property, then the undersigned agrees to reimburse the Denver Fire Company.

2. Rental Cost - A rental fee of Three Hundred Dollars ($350) is due any time before the day of the scheduled event. This fee includes the use of the banquet room, tables, chairs, and kitchen. This fee also includes normal cleaning after the event.

a. The kitchen is included in the rental cost for use during the event.

b. If an outside caterer is used for the event, the caterer must submit to the Denver Fire Company a Certificate of Insurance and current Health Certificate at least thirty (30) days prior to the scheduled event.

3. Alcohol Cost - A fee of One Hundred Twenty-Five Dollars ($125) is for the ability to have alcohol in the banquet room for the scheduled event. The Denver Fire Company is not licensed to sell or distribute alcohol but does permit alcohol in the banquet room only.


Upon entry to the building on the day of the scheduled event, the building should be clean. This includes but is not limited to the banquet room, bathrooms, and kitchen. If the building is not sufficiently cleaned, then the person issuing this contract needs to be contacted AS SOON AS POSSIBLE. The Denver Fire Company tries to maintain a well cleaned facility. Brooms, Mops and Cleaning Supplies will be available for use to clean up floors, spills or other issues that may arise during use. Tables and Chairs must also be set up according to the attached diagram.

Any entertainment provided by the Lessee shall end no later than 1 AM. The hall must be cleaned up and vacated no later than 2 AM. If the facility is not vacated by 2 AM, an additional fee of Fifty Dollars ($50) per hour will be charged.


1. No Confetti of any kind shall be used or thrown in the building.

2. Smoking is not permitted inside of the building at any time.


This contract shall become null and void if said premises are not available on the requested date(s) due to circumstances beyond the control of the Denver Fire Company. Such circumstances shall include, but not limited to: unforeseen damages to the hall by other rental parties; vandalism; fire, and other acts of nature, or uninvited parties; or local/national emergencies. In the event any of the aforementioned events occur and the premises become unable to occupy, then the Denver Fire Company shall return all funds paid by the lessee with the exception of the non-refundable deposit.


Should the Lessee find it necessary to cancel the contract, notice must be given to the Denver Fire Company no less than sixty (60) days prior to the scheduled event. If any additional costs have been paid in advance, the remaining balance shall be refunded to the Lessee. Should the Lessee otherwise fail to occupy the premises on the above date(s) for any reason, the Lessee shall forfeit all sums paid in advance.


1. Decorations are allowed. Only the use of tape is permitted and NO THUMBTACKS OR PINS. All decorations and tape shall be removed by the Lessor. Only a painters’ style tape is acceptable.

2. No Confetti of any kind shall be used or thrown in the building.

3. No Smoking is permitted inside of the building at any time. Smoking receptacles are located outside of the building.

4. No Alcohol is permitted outside of the building at any time. NO EXCEPTIONS.

5. Lessee is responsible for setting up tables and chairs for their liking. No tables and chairs are to be taken outside of the building.

6. No Alcoholic Beverages are to be served to minors.

7. Lessee must abide by Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board Laws.

8. There will be no acts of immorality on the Fire Company property.

9. NO PERSONS ARE PERMITTED IN THE ENGINE ROOM. Lessee shall supervise the conduct of all children.

10. No person shall block the garage doors or entrances/exits. 

11. No Utensils/Pots/Pans, etc. shall be removed from the premises.

12. The Denver Fire Company shall not be responsible for any lost or broken personal items.

13. The Denver Fire Company will not be responsible for any injury to any person.

14. Representatives of the Denver Fire Company have the right to inspect the building and premises during the event and to immediately stop all activities in the event of an emergency or failure of Lessee to comply with terms and conditions of this contract.

15. Lessee is responsible for emptying all garbage cans and placing the garbage into the dumpster to the rear of the building.

16. Keys shall be returned to the designated box on the front wall of the building prior to exiting the facility.

17. Cameras are present within the building.
